After apprenticing at Black Demon Tattooing in Edmonton Alberta in 1983, Tattoo artist Dan Murray moved to Dawson Creek B.C.
Black art Tattoo originated in Dawson Creek B.C. in 1984 in a studio on main street. The studio was very succesfull offering the finest in Tattooing as well as a new welcomed trade of body piercing in 1987. Black Art Tattoo moved to the sunny okanagan city of Penticton in 2001.
Black Art Tattoo moved to Kelowna in 2008 and opened a studio on Lawrence ave,Downtown Kelowna. With the new welcomed trade of tattoo laser removal in 2009 Black art Tattoo has done very well.
